I deliberately delay mowing my yard at the end of summer because I love how Blue Gama grass catches the sunlight, especially when covered in a frost.  This was from my “magical morning walk” . . . what a way to start the day.  Read and see more photos here: A Morning to Remember.

Absolutely wonderful, Helene! I, too, love these grasses long and we tend to let ours grow at various times of the year just to enjoy the beauty. Lovely photograph, I love the natural light playing off the frosty tips of the grasses! The beauty and wonder of nature, captured in a frame here for everyone to enjoy!
